title>Schooner or later/title>p>strong>Salem man wins Essex Heritage photo contest/strong>/p>center>br/>br/>center>img src=”http://www.wickedlocal.com/salem/archive/x1772964712/g0820618d1ff070368a2c96a2f233febfa9e6bfa500101a.jpg” alt=”Harrington art” title=”Harrington art” height=”97″ width=”130″>/center>br/> p>a href=”http://adrianwalkerblog.blogsay.co.uk/2008/11/29/overstock-outlet/”>Overstock outlet/a>/p>br/>/center>p>Derby Wharf, Lighthouse Beach, Strawberry Hill Trail #8230; local photographers searched out the best and most beautiful locations for their award-winning submissions to this year#8217;s Essex National Heritage Area Photo Contest./p> p>Sponsored by Essex National Heritage Commission (ENHC) and Hunt#8217;s Photo and Video, the contest winners were celebrated at an awards ceremony Nov. 13 at the National Park Service#8217;s Regional Visitor Center in Salem./p> p>Held in conjunction with Essex Heritage#8217;s Photo Safari program, qualifying photographs had to be taken in the ENHC area and represent one of three categories: #8220;Winter Wonderland,#8221; #8220;On the Trail#8221; and #8220;Trails Sails.#8221;/p> p>The grand-prize winner was Steve Harrington of Salem, for his photo of Derby Wharf in the snow.
